It's FREE and every swipe counts!

FoodBank South Africa is part of the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet programme which helps raise essential funds for schools, charities and environmental concerns across South Africa. It is the easiest way to support FoodBank SA.

How it works

Apply for a MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card and nominate FoodBank South Africa as beneficiary. Present your card every time you purchase items from any of the 2,500 participating partners (including Woolies and participating Engen QuickShops, Kalahari.net, Waltons, Toys R Us, Reggie’s, Jack’s Paint and Altech Netstar outlets) throughout South Africa. The retail partners then donate between 0.25% and 5% of your purchase to FoodBank South Africa. Every swipe counts! All your qualifying transactions are recorded and a statement is sent to you on a monthly basis via email, so you get to reflect on how much good you've done.

MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet manages the issuing of cards, collection of all transactions, invoicing of the partners and allocation of the funds to the correct beneficiary. The supporter card is not a credit or debit card.
