Once again, FoodBank South Africa has received a much appreciated funds raised through creativity and fun. Alvin Bird, Lionel Jacques and Sean Beukes challenged themselves to abstain from shaving for the whole month of November, and outdo each other by growing "the Meanest Mo".
To combine their fun with a great cause they set up a Facebook page to report on their progress and raise awareness to the cause of FoodBank's fight against hunger.
With our claim of providing 160 meals for each R 100 (US$15) donated, the three guys challenged their friends to support their quest of endurance with a donation of 100 Rand.
Regular photo updates of their mustaches kept the site busy and interesting so that they could proudly announce to have raised R1 200.
