FoodBank Durban hosts Unilever Team Building event

unilever3_thOn 20 January 2010, forty-five Unilever graduates from different provinces in South Africa spent time at the FoodBank Durban warehouse for a team building programme. Amongst other activities the group was tasked to make and deliver sandwiches to more than 1000 pupils of a local primary school.

Lunch Buddies starts again in Cape Schools

lunchbuddies_thLearners all over Cape Town and the Western Cape came back to school today after a long Christmas break.  With the classrooms filling up, you will also find FoodBank’s trucks going in and out of schools in Cape Town again.  They are on a mission to support proper education for everyone.  On our Lunch Buddy pilot program we manage to provide as much as 1440 children on a daily basis.
